In January of 1848, on the outskirts of Coloma California, James W. Marshall examined some exceptionally lustrous rocks scattered on the riverbed. Historians point to this fortuitous discovery as the initiating event for the subsequent California Gold Rush. At Coloma Therapeutics, we like to believe we carry on a bit of Marshall’s spirit of discovery. In our case, our PROSPECTOR Platform provides a means to markedly increase the current number of druggable E3 ligases, as well as a prospective strategy to identify small molecules that act as molecular degraders.
